There are farmers' markets springing up all over the Kitsap Peninsula. Here's a list of markets and their opening days published by the Kitsap Visitor and Convention Bureau:
Locally-grown produce, plants, and flowers; goat cheese and goat yogurt; farm kitchen products such as artisan breads and pastries, herbal vinegars, jams and infused honey. Juried work by area artists and artisans includes artglass, fiberarts, garden ornaments, pottery, jewelry, fine art and photography. Concessionaires offer barbeque ribs and chicken, market soup and quiche, fajitas and tamales, and Vietnamese specialities. Come for breakfast, stay for lunch, take home dinner, enjoy weekly entertainment.
This is a producer-based market. A FREE shuttle bus will run between downtown Poulsbo and the Farmers Market site every 15 minutes on Saturday mornings. Special events throughout the season.
Alongside colorful displays of produce, flowers and locally grown or processed foods, artisans from the renowned arts community sell their wares. The scents from Port Townsend's beloved bakeries and food vendors fill the air. Rick Oltman of Cape Cleare Fishery can personally describe the Alaskan source of each salmon that goes onto his grill. Nearby, families listen and dance to the music of venerable local musicians and regional touring acts.
Join the many farmers, artisans & crafters for this outdoor market on Puget Way, next to the maintenance shop & tennis courts.
Nestled just under the walk-off ramp of the Edmonds-Kingston ferry, this Market is a wonderful day trip from the mainland. Vendors offer fresh, local fruits and vegetables. Local artisans bring wonderful hand-made art & crafts. You'll find lots of baked goods, jams, pickles, honey, and freshly prepared coffee and food to be eaten at picnic tables or on the grass. There are special events happening almost every week and music by talented local musicians.
Located in the historic downtown Waterfront District, this is one of the largest and oldest Saturday Farmers Markets in Western Washington. After 30 years this market is still a great place to find fresh fruits, vegetables, farm fresh eggs, seafood, herbs and mushrooms in season; fresh and dried flowers and bouquets; fresh jams, honey and baked goods. There's a huge selection of plants of all kinds and plenty of great, hot food for breakfast or lunch. Local artists & artisans offer unique products for gift, home & garden.
An eclectic gathering of farmers, growers, cottage industries, musicians and local artisans. Handcrafted soaps, skeins of hand-carded angora and wool, beaded jewelry, pottery, local honey, cut flowers, and more are among the changing weekly offerings. Live entertainment of folk, pop, rock and country music adds to the festive atmosphere. FREE pancake breakfast the first Saturday of each month from 8:00am-10:30am.
All locally grown and hand made products.
