A major renovation is in the works for the space that was Penelope’s in the Bainbridge Pavilion. Once the dust has cleared, Bainbridge will have a new farm-to-table restaurant called Local Harvest, currently set to open in July.
Chef Daniel Miller, a graduate of New York’s Culinary Institute of America, will put his 20 years of cooking experience to work on locally sourced ingredients. According to the website, the restaurant's "signature dishes are reflective of the eclectic surroundings of the Pacific Northwest and around the world. Our menu uniquely takes the traditional fare and infuses it with the many different tastes of the world.”
Miller said he plans to host community events in the Pavlion Courtyard and offer cooking classes at the restaurant.
I’ll be talking more with Miller prior to the opening.
