Food systemThis Thursday, the third installment of Sound Food's "Local Food Roundtables" will focus on Processing. The availability of commercial kitchens, the status of the new Cottage Food Law, and meat processing options are a few of the topics to be covered in the group discussion. The meeting is Thursday, January 5 starting at 7 pm at the Bainbridge island Grange Hall, 10340 Madison Ave. NE.

At the second Local Food Roundtable on November 3, the group engaged in a thoughtful discussion of the obstacles to increasing local food production: read the complete notes from the meeting.
