Cauliflower is available in the fall and again in spring -- Farmhouse Organics has some that is a lovely shade of pumpkin orange. Even confirmed anti-cauliflowerists in your family might be converted by the taste of roasted caulilfower. Cut the caulilfower into florets with one flat side. Toss them in olive oil and salt (and a little melted butter if you wish), then put them in a 400 degree oven until brown and toasty, about 15 or 20 minutes.
